Where the rules are unclear
Missouri’s own documents disagree or are silent on these points. Ask the board if they affect you:
- Supervisor experience: 20 CSR 2263-2.031(1)(A)4 requires five years post-licensure experience; RSMo 337.600(19)(a) defines a qualified clinical supervisor with a minimum of three years. Which governs?
- 20 CSR 2263-2.031(1)(A)2 accepts a supervisor 'similarly licensed in another state' while 2.031(4) bars out-of-state licensees from supervising in Missouri. Presumably the out-of-state license covers only experience gained in that state; confirm.
