Can you be supervised remotely in New Hampshire?

Mostly, with some limits. What shapes this: prior board approval.

• Video supervision: Individual supervision (min. 1 h/week, 100 h total) may be on site, at a mutually convenient site, or on a synchronous HIPAA-compliant virtual platform (Mhp 301.01(c),(f); 305.03(d),(h)). Group supervision is defined as physical presence only.
• In-person minimum: No stated in-person hour minimum for individual supervision; group supervision is defined as physical presence (Mhp 301.01(d)); supervisor certification text refers to meetings at the candidate's worksite (see board_questions)

Where the rules are unclear

New Hampshire’s own documents disagree or are silent on these points. Ask the board if they affect you:

• Mhp 302.01(c)(4)b supervisor certification says one-hour face-to-face meetings "at the site where the Candidate works", while Mhp 301.01(c)/(f), 302.01(c)(2)p.2 and the profession rules allow a "virtual HIPAA compliant platform": does the board require any on-site meetings at all?
• Mhp 301.01(d) defines group supervision as physical presence only (individual supervision may be virtual): are virtually-held group hours creditable?
• Mhp 302.03(b) requires an NH-licensed supervisor with 2 years of NH clinical practice, while the profession rules say "licensed in the state where the supervision takes place": may an out-of-state supervisor supervise an NH candidate by video?
