2,000 hours of direct client contact experience under supervision (LCPC); LPC first requires 1,000 hours of supervised experience
Supervision: No fixed total; 1 hour clinical supervision per 30 direct hours; at least half individual
Remote supervision: paperwork

LMFTLicensed Marriage and Family Therapist · marriage and family therapist

Two thousand (2,000) hours of direct client contact over a period of at least two (2) years
Supervision: 200 hours; 100 individual; 100 by a licensed MFT

LCSWLicensed Clinical Social Worker · clinical social worker

Three thousand (3,000) hours of supervised clinical social work experience
Supervision: At least 100 hours face-to-face with supervisor; ≤50 group
Remote supervision: easy

PsychologistLicensed Psychologist · psychologist (phd/psyd)

Internship: Pre-doctoral internship required in the program; at an APPIC member site or equivalent program
