Can you be supervised remotely in Idaho?
Yes. Required supervision can be done entirely by live video, with no in-person minimum.
- Video supervision: The 100 required supervisor-contact hours may be in person or by remote live electronic connection (board guidance: HIPAA-approved digital connection, or a combination). No in-person share required.
- In-person minimum: none (in-person or remote live electronic connection)
- Supervisor licensed in Idaho? required: supervisor must be licensed in the state where the experience is obtained (Idaho for Idaho hours)
- Supervisor credential: No board registration; supervisor must be an LCSW licensed 2+ years with 15 h clinical supervisor training and no client-care discipline in 5 years (at least 50% of supervision); rest may be psychologist, psychiatrist, LCPC or LMFT
- Supervisee cap: No per-supervisor cap; at most 50 of the 100 contact hours may be group supervision
